From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Anthony Yarde takes on Lyndon Arthur tonight in an all-British blockbuster light heavyweight bout in London.

Yarde, who fell agonisingly short when challenging for a world title against Sergey Kovalev, returned to the ring in a warm-up fight against Dec Spelman in September, winning via sixth round TKO.

Arthur, who also most recently defeated Spelman via unanimous decision, should provide a sterner test, though. The Mancunian is unbeaten in 17 professional fights and has pledged to defy predictions of a routine win for the favourite.

The card also features an exciting undercard, with prodigious amateur Willy Hutchinson fighting for the British middleweight title.

Here is everything you need to know:

When and where is the fight?

The fight is on Saturday 5 December at Westminster Church House, London.

When are the ring walks and what time will the fight start?

You can expect the ring walks to start from around 10pm onwards, although that could change depending on the undercard results.

What TV channel is it on and how can I watch it?

The fight will be broadcast on BT Sport 1 with coverage starting at 7:30pm as well as BT Sport’s website and app.
