The pair fought to a majority draw in their first fight in August 2018 and sources have told the Independent that Matchroom's Hearn has agreed to now be part of the event after the pair decided to turn professional.
Anthony Joshua's promoter was approached to work on the first fight but declined, yet will now put together an undercard involving his own fighters.
The fight was a huge pay-per-view success, generating around 1.1 million buys at £7.50 or $10 each.
The event will take place at the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, with a combination of British and American talent on the undercard, including world champion Billy Joe Saunders.
The world super middleweight champion has just linked up with Hearn after leaving long-time promoter Frank Warren and will make his return to the ring after winning the WBO belt in May in a points win over Shefat Isufi.
Devin Haney, one of boxing's brightest talents and a huge part of Matchroom's venture into the USA, is also set to feature on the undercard.
