KSI vs Logan Paul: Chris Eubank Jr gives his prediction on who will win rematch

The 29-year-old, who beat James DeGale by unanimous decision back in February to win the vacant IBO super-middleweight title, has fought just once this year and has no opponent scheduled to fight next.
It’s believed that a rematch with Billy Joe Saunders – one of just two opponents he has lost to in his professional career thus far, could be on the cards in early 2020.
The 29-year-old is likely to return to the ring before the end of the year, although it’ll likely be a tick over fight before he faces his British rival.
“I can’t give you an exact date but expect to see me back in the ring in about two to three months,” Eubank Jr said.
“The plan for this year was three fights and it doesn’t look like that’s going to be the case now. That doesn’t mean that anything has changed in regard to me getting to where I want to be, but I did fully intend to have a busy 2019.”
Meanwhile, KSI and Paul meet for the first time as professionals after their amateur fight in August last year, which saw over 18,000 in attendance at the Manchester Arena and 1,300,000 pay-per-view buys online.
And speaking to the Daily Mirror, Eubank Jr gave his take on their professional debuts.
“Listen, these guys are doing great things.
“They’re not your typical professional boxers, obviously, but they’re still shining a light on the great sport, the sport that we all love.
“They’re bringing it to a whole new audience. Some people say they shouldn’t be doing this, they shouldn’t be doing that, it’s not fair that they’re making a lot of money out of the sport.
“But at the end of the day, they’re bringing new fans, new subscribers and shining a new light on the sport and for that I’m fully behind them.”
So, who does Eubank Jr think is going to win when the pair meet at Staples Centre in November?
“KSI is one of my good friends.
“I’ve trained with him on and off and I’ve seen some good things. I’m rooting for him and I think that he’ll do the business.”
