Canelo Alvarez takes on Daniel Jacobs in Las Vegas this weekend.

The two meet at the T-Mobile Arena with the Mexican's WBA and WBC middleweight titles all on the line in what promises to be an explosive contest.

Canelo stepped up to super middle to dispatch Great Britain's Rocky Fielding but returns to his natural weight as he looks to add the IBF strap to his growing collection.

The Miracle Man defeated the dangerous Serhiy Derevianchenko to earn his title and will have to be at his very best again in his first defence.

Here’s everything you need to know:

When and where is the fight?

The fight takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, 4th May. The arena is something of a home for Canelo – and will be even more so considering the bout is on Cinco de Mayo weekend.

What time will the ring walks be?

As this one is in Vegas, expect it to be no earlier than 4.30am – possibly even 5am.

What TV channel will it be on?

It’ll be live on DAZN as that’s who both fighters are with – and in the UK it’ll be shown on Sky Sports, so if you’re a subscriber you get this one as part of your package.

What is the full fight schedule?

Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Mauricio Herrera

Pablo Cesar Cano vs Michael Perez

Lamont Roach Jr vs Jonathan Oquendo

Joseph Diaz vs Freddy Fonseca

Sadam Ali vs Anthony Young

John Ryder vs Bilal Akkawy

Alexis Espino vs Billy Wagner

What’s at stake and what are their records?

Plenty of belts! Canelo puts up his WBA (Super), WBC, The Ring and lineal titles, while Jacobs offers his IBF strap. A proper unifying fight.

Canelo’s record is an absurd one, he’s been fighting professionally since the age of 15(!) and has become the biggest star of the sport. He comes in with a record of 54 fights, 51 wins, two draws and just one defeat to the legendary Floyd Mayweather.

Jacobs, meanwhile, has fought 37 times in his professional career with 35 wins and two defeats.

Prediction

Canelo should win this one. His body punching ability will break Jacobs down and there could be a late stoppage.

Odds

Canelo to win: 4/11

Jacobs to win: 9/2

Draw: 22/1
