Former WBC heavyweight world champion Frank Bruno has warned Anthony Joshua to keep a cool head when he takes on Joseph Parker in their title unification fight in Cardiff on March 31.

Joshua is the overwhelming favourite to emerge victorious when the two men meet at the Principality Stadium at the end of the month, with the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight titles all at stake.

Bruno is confident that Joshua is good enough to collect his fourth world title, but has warned the 28-year-old to keep his calm and not get into a scrap with Parker, who is undefeated after 24 contests.

“Anthony Joshua has got the size, the power, and the skill, and Parker is a guy who comes to him all the time,” Bruno said when speaking to Sky Sports.

“If Joshua moves around and uses his reach and his power, he should make it make it easier for himself. Joshua has a lot of skill, a lot of size, a lot of power. If he just relaxes and uses Parker to come in, it is as simple as that.

“If he is going to get macho and start wanting to tear up with him, then Parker is a very dangerous guy, very fit—he is on you all the time.”

The fight takes place in less than two weeks’ time and you can find all the latest news here.
