Jarrell Miller is to call on British heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois to help him prepare for his upcoming 1 June bout against Anthony Joshua.
Dubois, although just 21, bears a number of likenesses to Joshua in stature and style and is seen as a natural successor to the WBA, WBO & IBF world champion in years to come.
Miller and Joshua are currently both looking at setting up their training camps in Miami, and the brash American said he is looking to fly Dubois, who also worked with Alexander Povetkin, out to join him.
Speaking to TalkSport, when asked whether he would be drafting in any big opponents to mimic Joshua’s style, Miller said:
“I found a couple of guys that are a little taller than me.
“I wanna say one name, I heard the kid’s a badass – Daniel Dubois.
“I like the kid, I like him a lot, I like his energy and I heard he’s thumped AJ a couple times down in the gym as well, too.
“So I’m a fan of his. Me and his team are talking. I’m gonna see what he brings to the table and bring him to camp.”
Dubois last fought in October, when he was take the distance for the first time in his career by former world title challenger Razvan Cojanu, extending his blemish-free professional record to nine wins.
