Crawford, who is unbeaten in 34 fights, will put his WBO welterweight world title on the line.
Khan has fought twice since returning to the sport, defeating Phil Lo Grego before being dropped himself en route to victory against Samuel Vargas last September.
Crawford has won his last five fights by knockout and was crowned undisputed champion at light-welterweight before moving up to 147lbs.
