Carl Thompson of Manchester will earn a world title re-match after losing to Germany's Ralf Rocchigiani at the G-Mex Centre on Saturday. Thompson was ahead on all three cards when his right shoulder was dislocated and the World Boxing Organisation cruiserweight title was awarded to Rocchigiani in the 11th round. Promoter Frank Warren will be pushing hard to arrange it for later this year.
