In his third year as the Lions' starter, having first impressed as a back-up in Miami. Set club records with 4,338 passing yards and 32 touchdowns in 1995.
DEDRICK DODGE, safety, San Francisco 49ers (London Monarchs 1991-92)
Became first player to win World Bowl and Super Bowl rings when 49ers won Super Bowl XXIX, although he missed the big game through injury.
ANTHONY PARKER, cornerback, St Louis Rams (New York/New Jersey Knights 1991)
World League's first-ever Defensive MVP, now a long-time NFL starter. Scored on a 92-yard interception return against Jacksonville in Week Eight.
TED POPSON, tight end, San Francisco 49ers (London Monarchs 1992)
Super Bowl winner in 1994. Caught five touchdown passes in the space of four games.
GREG BRIGGS, linebacker, Chicago Bears (Frankfurt Galaxy 1995)
Only player to win World Bowl and Super Bowl rings in back-to-back seasons, completing the double as a Dallas Cowboy in Super Bowl XXX.
BRAD JOHNSON, quarterback Minnesota Vikings (London Monarchs 1995)
Threw the game-winning touchdown pass with a minute left to beat Detroit in the first week of the season, after replacing an injured Warren Moon. Passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns to win first NFL start against Atlanta a week later.
