The Monarchs, who have played at Tottenham's White Hart Lane for the past two seasons, have signed a two-year contract. Stamford Bridge hosted the final game of the Monarchs' 1996 season.
The Dallas Cowboys will be the best represented team at the 1997 Pro Bowl with nine players at the National Football League's annual post-season all-star game. The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers each had seven players selected yesterday. Green Bay Packers' defensive end, Reggie White, and San Francisco 49ers' wide receiver, Jerry Rice, were selected for a record 11th time. White, 35 next week, has signed a contract with Green Bay said to be worth $19m (pounds 11.8m) over five years.
