Following a previous letter warning Prince Harry it is “not too late” to call off the royal wedding, Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother has written another - this time directed to his sister.

In the second handwritten letter, which he addressed “Dear Meg,” Thomas Markle Jr asked for an invite to the royal wedding, now just days away.

The letter, shared with In Touch magazine, reads: “It’s true that you and I have have become ‘distant’ along with the rest of our family members over the years.

“But we are all still family. With all the memories of watching you grow up, it’s hurtful that you would forget about us.”

Thomas, who Markle has not seen since 2011, revealed neither he nor their father had received an invite to the royal wedding in his first letter.

Despite her brother’s claims, Markle’s father, Thomas Markle Sr, is invited to the wedding on May 19 2018 and he will be walking his daughter down the aisle, according to Kensington Palace.

In the second two-page letter, Thomas then goes on to reminisce about school plays Markle was involved in as a child, as well as fond memories of the family feeding ducks at a duck park and visiting “Grandma Markle.”

He also acknowledged that he is "not perfect" before reminding Markle that they are the only family she has.

Concluding the letter, Thomas apologises for his previous letter and behaviour, admitting that it “does hurt my feelings” that he and the rest of the family were not invited.

He then added that it is “not too late” for "Meg" to send an invite along to him and their other family members, because they should “all be there to show our love and support” on her wedding day.

In his previous letter, Thomas referred to his sister as a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman” and warned Prince Harry she would make a “joke of the royal family.”

Markle’s half-brother has also criticised his sister before over a lack of invite, telling the Daily Mirror last month that he was “not bitter, just baffled” when he didn’t receive an invitation.
