Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. The Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition returns to Glasgow’s SECC for its fifth year having established itself as one of the leading interiors events in the UK.
This year’s highlights include an interior design presentation by world-renowned designer Nina Campbell, known for her beautiful interiors and luxury fabric, wallpaper and accessory collections.
For food lovers, Martin Wishart will be giving daily demonstrations of his Michelin-starred talents. One of the UK’s leading chefs, Martin will be providing tips on how to create delicious dishes with wow factor which can be recreated at home.
The show’s centrepiece will be a stunning Interior Design Showcase, bringing together fantastic roomsets created by eight of Scotland’s top interior designers, for the first time including garden design. This fabulous presentation will see eight of Scotland’s top interior designers presenting their work in a full-scale house created exclusively for the show, providing a great source of inspiration to the assembled audience. On display will be roomsets by Malcolm Duffin Design, Ian Smith Design, Designworks, Interior Design Partnership, Jeffreys Interiors, Adam McNee Interiors, Farmore Interiors and Beyondfourwalls.
This year also sees the introduction of an art gallery space and the expansion of the champagne bar where visitors can relax and take stock of the inspirational design work on display.
