Coming up within the next four weeks: the Singapore Design festival, Interior Lifestyle in Tokyo, and the opening of the world's tallest building.

The Toronto Design Exchange has curated a new exhibition showcasing the best in contemporary Japanese architecture, including the Tokyo National Museum, the Sendai Mediatheque, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa.

Singapore Design Festival

Themed "Design 2050: Possibilities for Tomorrow," the event -- running November 20-30 -- will for the first time open to the public via citywide Design Trails. The third Singapore Design festival will also be a special one because this year, it is hosting the ICSID World Design Congress.

American Institute of Architects Gold Medal winner announced
