The World Expo 2010 opens in Shanghai May 1, and with it, daring pavilions for the respective participating countries open their doors to the public.

This year's World Expo will again showcase the works of the world's best architects. Highlights include the Dream Cube by ESI Design and Atelier FCIZ Architects, China's corporate pavilion, which changes color depending on visitors' activity. Italy's pavilion by Giampaolo Imbrighi is built from transparent concrete, Norman Foster has created giant futuristic-looking dunes for the U.A.E, and Danish BIG Architects have incorporated a bike path.

International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF)
