North America's biggest contemporary design fair is partially open to the public, with visitors being able to browse some of the best in interior design, get an update from the design colleges and immerse themselves in special exhibitions.

Noho Design District

Following similar initiatives in Soho and the Meatpacking District, the Noho Design District in New York will open its doors to the public for the first time, running concurrently with the ICFF. Highlights will include a sale of gently used designer items and an emerging talent showcase called Noho Next.

Rick Owens' furniture exhibition Pavane For A Dead Princess will be on show at Salon 94/Rudy Weissenberg. The fashion designer will transform the gallery into an apartment inspired by his own in Paris.

Maxxi museum opening
