Marcel Breuer: Design and Architecture
March 16 - July 3
Vienna, Austria
The spring exhibition at the Hofmobiliendepot - Möbel Museum Wien is devoted to the "inventor" of tubular steel furniture Marcel Breuer, who was also an important architect. The retrospective was developed by Germany's Vitra Museum.

TEFAF (The European Fine Art Foundation) is the world's leading Arts and Antiques Fair, having attracted 73,000 visitors last year. More than 260 art and antiques dealers will travel to the fair from 16 countries, exhibiting about 30,000 pieces. The event is divided into nine sections that represent all the different forms of art and antiques from modern masterpieces to artifacts dating back 7,000 years.

Describing itself as "the number one destination for sourcing the antiques of the future without the huge retail mark-up," this one-day event at Dulwich College has become a favorite of design fans to find everything from mid-century design classics to works by up-and-coming young designers.

The Cult of Beauty: The Aesthetic Movement 1860-1900
April 2 - July 17
London, UK
Curated by the Victoria & Albert Museum, this new exhibition seeks to explore the Aestheticism movement in art and design, which aimed at escaping "the ugliness and materialism of the Victorian era." Traditional paintings will be presented alongside architecture, interior design, photography and fashion.

50th Salone Internazionale del Mobile
April 12-17
Milan, Italy
The biggest annual gathering of the design world will play host to numerous events celebrating its 50-year history, such as the Triennale Design Museum's exhibition on "the people, companies and projects which contributed to develop the system of Italian design."
