Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, known for installations such as his oversized chessboard in London's Trafalgar Square, has released his first complete furniture collection.
Designed for the UK-based, globally sold Sé Collection, which usually works with French craftsmen, the range includes chairs (the Arpa Armchair is a key piece), mirrors, tables and sofas made from woods, metals, marbles and fabrics.
Hayon - who was the Designer of the Year at the Maison & Objet fair in Paris last year - has collaborated with Japanese design brand Choemon-gama for a porcelain line and designed the Camper London store in Tokyo, but this is his first move into 'mainstream' interior design.
Prices range from £1,000 to £9,700 (from $1,605 to $15,565). Shop the collection now at http://www.se-london.com.
Another Spanish architect and designer recently presented a new furniture range: for Patricia Urquiola's collection for prominent seating design label Moroso, click here.
