Your support makes all the difference.The Ideal Home Show (IHS) Scotland will be held in Glasgow at the SECC (Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre) May 27-30: the show is a spinoff of the Ideal Home Show London (held in March) and is expected to attract over 400 international visitors. This year highlights of the show include futuristic appliances, fashion and celebrity chefs.
This year innovative products including an indoor garden, a portable induction heating device and an internet-connected bath will be some of the innovative products on display at the Home of the Future exhibition.
The Ideal Home Show Scotland will also be presenting clothing designs by high street stores in the Catwalk section of the show. This part of the event will feature fashion tips from industry professionals as well as designs from high street stores such as Fila, Austin Reed and Matalan.
Other highlights of this year's show include the How To Theatre, which offers expert advice and tutorials to DIY enthusiasts, and the Celebrity Chef Theatre. The latter will feature creations by top names such as recent Iron Chef UK candidate Martin Blunos, as well as a question-and-answer section on cooking hosted by co-presenter of UK TV cooking series MasterChef Gregg Wallace.

From June 1 to 3 the latest in home trends will also be showcased at Interior Lifestyle Japan, which is one of the biggest events of its kind in the region and attracted upwards of 25,000 visitors in 2010. The show will feature exhibitors of high-end kitchen and dining accessories and décor and showcase interior design trends from around the world.
