THE Centre for the Conservation of Historic Parks and Gardens at the University of York has again arranged a series of short courses likely to appeal to anyone who owns, works in or manages an old garden. From 12-15 October you can learn about the history of gardens and landscape design in Britain. From 11-14 January the focus is on the planting and upkeep of old gardens.
