Four youths have been charged following an attack which left a 12-year-old policeman's son fighting for his life in hospital, Scotland Yard said last night.
The four were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the attack on Daniel Moore on 9 September 9 in Hounslow, south-west London, which police have been treating as attempted murder.
Police said they were Armajit Dhariwal, 19, of Victoria Avenue, Hounslow; Vishal Mair, 19, of Cromwell Road, Hounslow; Vishal Kapoor, 18, of Tivoli Road, Hounslow; and a 17-year-old juvenile from Hounslow.
All four are due to appear in custody at Richmond Magistrates Court tomorrow (Fri).
The four were arrested on Wednesday, one of them by police in Coventry, after officers carried out a series of raids.
All are being held at separate police stations in London.
