Your support makes all the difference.NEW YORK (AP) - Rolf Ekeus, head of the United Nations special commission in charge of Iraqi weapons inspections, told the Security Council that Iraqi forces had pointed anti-aircraft guns at a UN helicopter on a weapons inspection flight and twice threatened to shoot it down.
The reported threat on Monday was the first serious problem between the Iraqi government and UN weapons inspectors since the administration of Bill Clinton took office and President Saddam Hussein called for improved relations with the United States and the UN.
