Rowing over fish

Hundreds of Spanish and French fishermen clashed in the Atlantic early on Saturday over where and how to catch white tuna, AP reports from Paris.

Up to 400 Spanish and 60 French fishermen exchanged volleys of projectiles, manoeuvred their boats to intimidate each other and destroyed fishing equipment, said a French coast guard spokesman. No serious injuries were reported. Both sides later agreed to return to port and hold talks.
