Your support makes all the difference.PHNOM PENH (Reuter) - Kong Korm, the State Affairs Inspectorate minister, who effectively served as ombudsman, has quit the cabinet and resigned from the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP), said Cambodian and diplomatic sources.
The minister, who was driven out of the Khmer Rouge when the radical group took power in Phnom Penh in 1975, said in letters to the UN peace-keeping force and to the head of state, Prince Norodom Sihanouk, that he wanted 'to be completely neutral before elections'.
