Your support makes all the difference.London - The US government made no objection to Iranian arms shipments to the Bosnian Muslims through Croatia, in violation of the UN embargo, because they enabled the Bosnian Government to survive the war with the Serbs, the US Ambassador to Croatia said yesterday.
Peter Galbraith explained the position to the Croatian newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija: "We thought it was important for the Bosnian people to be enabled to defend themselves as they were subjected to attacks by people who were committing genocide." Christopher Bellamy
