CANBERRA - Australia's Industry Minister, Alan Griffiths, resigned yesterday as an inquiry began into financial dealings in his Melbourne office. Mr Griffiths is the second leading minister to quit Paul Keating's administration in the past two months, after John Dawkins's departure as treasurer in December. Mr Keating said that Mr Griffiths expected to be exonerated. Reuter
