The remains of an Indian sage, leader of a religious centre founded by an 8th-century Hindu philosopher, were laid to rest, Reuter reports from Kanchipuram. Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi died in this south Indian city, 40 miles from Madras, on Saturday.
