Your support makes all the difference.Police were called to a drunken argument between two Star Wars fans in Denmark after neighbours feared the shouting was a domestic disturbance.
Residents in Fredericia, a town in Jutland, raised the alarm about the disturbance in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Peter Balsgaard, a deputy police inspector, said officers arriving at 5.10am were surprised to find two teenage boys aged 17 and 18 embroiled in a heated debate about the film franchise.
“We did indeed find two people yelling and screaming at each other,” he told TV2 News.
“It turned out to be two people who knew each other, but they were in a pretty drunken state.
“And the issue they were discussing so loudly was their differing opinions on the strength of the Republic in Star Wars.”
One of the teenagers initially refused to give police his real name, introducing himself to officers as “Count Dooku”.
The villain, played by the late Sir Christopher Lee in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, is a former Jedi master who turns to the Dark Side and becomes a powerful rebel leader.
“Count Dooku” eventually gave his real name and received a noise disturbance fine as he had been the louder of the two, TV2 reported.
Police said they could not confirm whether the Star Wars fanatics ever reached an agreement.
