Your support makes all the difference.When not competing in slopestyle skiing, Team USA Olympian Gus Kenworthy has been trying to save the consistently adorable stray dogs he has stumbled across from extermination.
The skier has been posting images of himself with various puppies on Twitter, but they are more than just good photo opportunities.
Following Sochi's controversial mandate to exterminate street dogs, Colorado-born Kenworthy pledged to try and save the dogs he comes across by setting up kennels and attempting to take some back home with him.
"Oh my glob, look who I just found! :)" he wrote on Twitter (that's an Adventure Time reference there) before following up: "Also, for the people wondering, I've lined up kennels 4 the pups & made vaccination appointments. Doing all I can to bring them home w/ me!"
The Russian city has a big problem with stray dogs, with some journalists reporting that there were even some walking between the rooms of their hotels when they arrived to cover the Olympics.
