Millionaire businessman Andrew Bush, 48, was found dead in his rented mansion in Estepona, near Marbella, in the early hours of Saturday. Mayka Marica Kukucova, in her early twenties, was detained in Slovakia on suspicion of a “consumed intentional homicide”, police said.
It is thought that Ms Kukucova, a swimwear model, gave herself up in her home town of Nova Bosaca.
Mr Bush’s partner, Russian student Maria Korotaeva, 20, who raised the alarm, said on Instagram: “I will always love you. You will always be in my heart. The man who changed my world for [the] better. ”
Ms Korotaeva was in the house shortly before Mr Bush was killed, but said she went outside when she realised someone else was there.
Mr Bush’s ex-wife, former radio presenter Sam Mason, 45, said on Facebook: “RIP dearest Andy. We all loved you so much.”
