Russia films more missile drills as it shows off military firepower
To complement previous footage of air strikes in Syria, several videos were released of Russia's military drills on Friday
Russia has released more footage of military drills across the country as their involvement in Syria has now lasted over a month.
The Russian Ministry of Defence has released plenty of videos that show off the nation's military might, including the attachment of a Go-Pro to one of their jets.
On Friday, a nationwide exercise was undertaken in various locations across Russia that included the Caspian flotilla and ballistic missile launchers in the Astrakhan region.
As Russia's involvement in Syria has stretched to over a month, foreign minister Sergei Lavrov warned the US of risking a "proxy war" between the two nations.
The warning came as the US announced "fewer than 50" troops are to "train, advise and assist" forces fighting Isis in the region.
