Both French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were in attendance as Mr Farage addressed the speech they made together on Wednesday.
The Ukip leader called France "severely diminshed" in its relationship with Germany, detailing how the country is "trapped inside a currency that frankly from which she cannot recover, and the French voice in this relationship and in Europe is little more now, frankly, than a pipsqueak."
During Mr. Farage's speech the two leaders watched on, with Chancellor Merkel displaying a brief glimpse of exasperation as she endured criticism over the current state of Europe.
"This isn't a Europe of peace, it's a Europe of division, it's a Europe of disharmony, it's a Europe that is a recipe for resentment," the Ukip leader said. "And yet, when faced with all this failure, both of you said the same thing today, you said: 'Europe isn't working – so we must have more Europe,' more of the same failing!"
