Your support makes all the difference.Poland's last Communist leader General Wojciech Jaruzelski cannot attend his two ongoing trials due to ill health, putting the future of the proceedings in doubt, Warsaw Provincial Court said.
The 87-year-old is on trial over his decision to impose martial law in Poland in 1981, during protests by the Solidarity movement. Court-appointed doctors said General Jaruzelski, who suffers from cancer, is too ill to attend court sessions for at least the next 12 months.
