Istanbul's governor's office says at least 10 people have been killed and 15 injured in Sultanahmet Square
A suicide bomber killed 10 people and injured 15 in Turkey's biggest city on Tuesday in what has been called the first attack claimed by Isis to target the country's vital tourism sector.
The bomber, who has been named as Saudi-born Nabil al-Fadli, 28, was not on any watch lists of suspected Isis fighters. He was identified by body parts at the scene.
Eight of the 10 people killed have been identified as German tourists and nine others were wounded. The nationalities of the two others killed in the blast have not yet been released, though both were foreigners. The injured also included citizens from Norway, Peru, South Korea and Turkey.

Turkey suffered two major bombing attacks last year - both blamed on Isis.
More than 30 people were killed in a suicide attack in the town of Suruc, near Turkey's border with Syria, in July.
