Your support makes all the difference.VIENNA (AFP) - Iran is considering unilateral military action to help protect the Muslim majority in Bosnia, Ali Akbar Velayati, the Iranian Foreign Minister said in Vienna. Mr Velayati said after a meeting with his Austrian counterpart, Alois Mock, that all peaceful efforts to end the war had been exhausted and called for UN military intervention against Serbian extremists in Bosnia.
Tehran 'is now examining the international legal basis on which Iran could act independently to protect the Muslims of Bosnia', he said. Mr Velayati urged the lifting of a UN embargo on arms deliveries to Bosnia, saying: 'We must allow its innocent men to defend themselves.'
