ATHENS (AP) - Greece warned yesterday that regional peace and stability could be undermined if the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia adopts the Star of Vergina, emblem of Alexander the Great, as its national symbol. 'This is .. an act of historical theft,' a government spokesman said. Macedonia's parliament is reportedly debating adoption of a new flag including the 16-rayed star.
