Kampot - Cambodia has agreed to pay a dollars 150,000 ( pounds 98,000) ransom to free three Western hostages being held by Khmer Rouge insurgents, a senior army commander said. Lieutenant-General Sok Bunsoeun, deputy commander of the Third Military Region, said the Prime Minister, Prince Norodom Ranariddh, gave officials overseeing negotiations with the insurgents 'dollars 150,000 to secure the release of three foreigners who were taken hostage by the Khmer Rouge', he said.
