A US Coast Guard boat approaches the Sing Li, one of three Chinese ships being held since last Tuesday some 60 miles (100km) from the Mexican port of Ensenada, Mexico. The 658 undocumented emigrants on the ships are awaiting word from US and Mexican officials.
