The last of three smuggling ships docked in the port of Ensenada yesterday carrying more than 200 Chinese boat people marked for immediate deportation by the Mexican government, Reuter reports from Ensenada.
Two sister ships, crowded with about 430 weary passengers arrived on Saturday after 10 days in US coastguard custody off Mexico's Pacific coast, and authorities quickly began loading them on to flights bound for China. The last ship was met with a strong show of force by Mexican troops to prevent escapes and discourage resistance.
