Your support makes all the difference.An arrest warrant has been issued for ousted Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, on terrorism charges in connection with the country's recent bloody protests.
Mr Thaksin, overthrown in a military coup in 2006, is accused by the Thai government of fomenting violence by the Red Shirts, who seized areas of central Bangkok before being overcome by troops last week. At least 88 people died.
The former leader's lawyer, Robert Amsterdam, said the government "has perverted justice". Mr Thaksin, living in self-imposed exile, is regarded as a hero by many Red Shirts.P
