The Afghan President said yesterday that 18 people killed in a Nato air-strike in the east of the country on Wednesday were all civilians.
Nato says it has no records of civilian deaths from the strike in Logar province. The Nato and Afghan troops were pursuing a local Taliban leader when they say they came under fire and called in the air-strike. "This cannot be tolerated," President Hamid Karzai said.
