A group of people in China have been rescued after they were nearly swept away by a fast-flowing river when torrential rain struck.
The three men and a boy were having a BBQ on the side of the Wulei Mountain on Monday afternoon when they were hit by the sudden downpour, leaving them stranded on one side of a fast-flowing river.
Although they were quick to call for help, it took the emergency services an hour to arrive. They were eventually rescued after two firefighters tied a length of rope across two trees and used it to climb across.
