Your support makes all the difference.More than 90 children have been rescued and 301 suspects arrested in a huge human trafficking swoop, China's Ministry of Public Security has said.
The ministry said the operation spanned 11 provinces, and targeted a network which allegedly stole, bought and sold children in Henan province in central China and other provinces.
It said the group targeted children in the south-western Yunnan and Sichuan provinces and transported them to other provinces for sale.
The arrests, made on 11 September following a six-month investigation, were reported by China Central Television and state news agency Xinhua.
Child abduction is a major problem in China, spurred by family planning laws and a traditional preference for boys.
