Another car is parked in your driveway, what is the reasonable reaction? Leave a note? Knock on their door? One driver in China opted for arson.

CCTV footage has emerged of a driver setting a car on fire apparently because it was blocking his driveway.

The incident took place in the Hubei Province earlier this month.

The video shows the driver arrive at his intended parking spot to find a car blocking his way. He returns five minutes later with a lighter and sets fire to the car exhaust.

Residents noticed and tried to extinguish the flames; but the footage shows the car burned out in the morning.

According to news reports, the driver said he was angered by the parking and wanted to teach the owner a lesson.

He has now been arrested pending further investigation.
