From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.A group of vigilantes in Brazil dealt their own punishment for one driver who illegally parked in a disabled bay.
The hilarious footage below shows the moment the owner of the car returns, only to find it covered in blue and white post-it notes making out a wheelchair symbol.
The driver angrily rips off some of the post-it notes plastered on the car but fails to realise they are planted everywhere - including the windscreen.
To the crowd’s amusement, he exits the vehicle a couple more times to clear off the stickers impacting his vision, before quickly skidding off to save further embarrassment.
The footage has gone viral. Two days after it was posted on YouTube, it has nearly two million views.
