The suspect is seen in the video wearing a black hooded jumper, and getting out of an SUV.
The shooting reportedly took place just before noon in the southeastern portion of the city.
The DC Metropolitan Police Department says that a man and woman who were standing near the intersection were the victims of the shooting.
As police search for their suspect, they have offered a $10,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.
The victims were both rushed to a nearby hospital, and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
In the video, the gunman quickly jumps back into the SUV’s back passenger seat after shooting several rounds. The car then leaves quickly.
