Your support makes all the difference.The venerable Sahara hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, where Elvis Presley and the Beatles stayed, has dealt to its final gamblers and checked out its last guests after six decades.
Visitors streamed through the casino on Monday, picking up souvenirs at a virtually empty gift shop and playing blackjack for one last time before officials shut the doors at 2pm.
Owners SBE Entertainment said it is no longer economically viable to keep the casino open on the north side of the Strip.
