Your support makes all the difference.A woman has been arrested after accidentally sending a text message to a police officer offering to sell him crystal meth.
According to court documents, Shelby R Eicks began communicating with the officer in order to set up0 a drug deal.
After receiving the text, police in New Whiteland contacted Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives continued to text with 19-year-old Shelby R Eicks and set up a drug deal.
On two occasions officers met Ms Eicks to buy drugs. In one deal Ms Eicks sold a detective meth for $575 (£440) and in another she gave them 17 prescription pain pills for $135 (£103).
Ms Eicks was taken into custody and charged with dealing methamphetamine and dealing a controlled substance.
The prosecutor has yet to file charges. She faces a sentence of up to 30 years in prison.
