Both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are heading to Pennsylvania Monday as they battle it out for the key swing state.

The former president is holding a town hall event in Oaks at 6 p.m. while Harris is set to speak in Erie later in the evening.

Their campaign stops come as the armed suspect arrested at a Trump rally in California on Saturday has insisted that he’s been “embedded with the Trump people on countless occasions.”

Vem Miller told The Independent that he’s not a would-be presidential assassin, but merely “an artist.”

He added that he has been to Trump rallies in the past and that he tells officers that he works “closely with the Trump campaign and individuals within the Trump campaign.”

Meanwhile, Fox News has revealed that Harris has agreed to sit for an interview with the network to be broadcast on Wednesday.

The interview will be conducted by chief political anchor Bret Baier and is set to be recorded near Pennsylvania shortly before airing.

Fox News said the vice president is expected to sit for about half an hour of questions. It will be Harris’s first formal interview with the conservative network.

Truth Social: Trump challenges Harris to cognitive test and accuses her of ‘importing criminal gangs to occupy America'

Over in the Republican’s social media swamp, he has been trashing the Vice President with false claims about her recent media appearances, claiming she was “slow and lethargic” answering questions and challenging her to a cognitive test.

“Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her,” he declares – citing no evidence, as usual.

That comes after she released her latest medical report indicating she was in robust health (more on which shortly) and after he admitted to “ranting and raving” himself during his Sunday rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Trump has also accused Harris of inflicting “violence and terror” on the public and “import[ing] criminal gangs to OCCUPY America” – an appalling and dangerous lie.

He also found time overnight to scaremonger about the “weaponization” of the Department of Justice to interfere in the election, an avenue it is widely feared he might be interested in traversing himself if he regains the White House.

Inside the secretive church that’s become Trump’s biggest female fan group

Mike Bedigan writes:

Among the hordes of Donald Trump supporters in attendance at campaign rallies is a group that the former president fondly refers to as “those beautiful ladies from North Carolina.”

The women, often pictured smiling bigly and in their Sunday best, are all members of the same evangelical church.

The Word of Faith Fellowship, in Spindale, was established in 1979, and according to its website its members “strive to live righteous, godly lives.”

Vance says it’s ‘deranged’ for women not to have children due to climate change

JD Vance has said it is “deranged” and “very crazy” for women not to have children due to concerns about the climate crisis in his latest comments wading in on the choices of childfree Americans.

Donald Trump’s running mate has struggled to shake off the backlash for calling Kamala Harris and other Democrats “childless cat ladies” in a resurfaced interview with Tucker Carlson from 2021.
