Video footage shows the astonishing moment a thief suffered a fatal heart attack while attempting to mug an evangelical pastor sitting in his parked car.

The CCTV footage shows three men walk up to the pastor’s vehicle, located in a residential street in Guarulhos, Brazil, on Sunday night.

The men swarmed the pastor’s car, and one of the suspects opened the the driver side door and suddenly collapsed to the pavement from a fatal heart attack.

One of the men, standing a few feet from his deceased accomplice, immediately ran, while the other stayed by the front passenger door.

The runaway suspect then returned to the scene to drag his dead friend while unsuccessfully attempting to revive him.

Soon after, the pastor and a woman got out of the car, distancing themselves from the bandits.

A few seconds later, the third thug reappeared from the passenger side of the vehicle with something that looks like a handbag. After checking on his dead friend, he paced around the car and reached for inside the driver’s seat before firing a shot at the pastor and running away.

No arrests have been reported. The suspects remain unidentified.
