The delay is the latest event to be delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has killed nearly 8,000 people in New York and infected more than 613,000 nationwide. The trial was set for 5 October in Manhattan.
The men, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, pleaded not guilty on charges they improperly used foreign funds to make illegal campaign contributions to American politicians.
On 17 January, Mr Trump denied that Mr Giuliani and the men were working on his behalf to help him win a second term in November's election.
"You just have to take a look at the polls," the president said at that time. "You see, I don't need anybody's help.
